Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BRANDWORKSAPP LLC (“MoneyWorks,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use moneyworkslite.app and the MoneyWorks Lite mobile application.

This public website does not ask for a phone number, does not contain a contact form, and does not install optional analytics unless you consent. The mobile app handles additional data needed to provide its features.

1. Information handled by the website

When you visit this website, our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events. We use this information to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the site.

The site stores first-party preferences named mw_cookie_consent and mw_language_choice in your browser so it can remember your privacy choice and selected language. We do not currently install advertising cookies or optional analytics. If analytics are added later, they will remain disabled until consent where required.

2. Information handled by the mobile app

Depending on the features you use, MoneyWorks Lite may process:

• Account information such as name, email address, authentication provider, and user identifier.
• Financial content you enter, including income, expenses, balances, categories, sources, notes, currencies, goals, events, and profile information.
• Profile membership and role information for personal, business, and shared profiles.
• Subscription and purchase status supplied by Apple or Google.
• Product interaction, app activity, device, crash, diagnostic, and performance information.

Google Play states that data is encrypted in transit and that users can request deletion. Apple’s privacy disclosure identifies purchases, contact information, user content, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, and performance data as categories the app may handle.

3. How information is used

• Provide account access, cloud sync, profiles, statistics, forecasts, goals, widgets, and collaboration features.
• Process and verify subscriptions and restore purchases.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose crashes, and improve reliability.
• Answer support requests and communicate important service or policy changes.
• Comply with law and enforce our terms.

Income pace, annualized values, and goal timelines are informational projections calculated from user-entered data. They are not financial advice or guarantees.

4. Service providers and sharing

MoneyWorks uses service providers to operate the app and website, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, crash reporting, app distribution, and subscription services. These providers process information only for the services they provide, subject to their own terms and our agreements where applicable. The app uses Firebase cloud services configured in the European Union region.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You can use the account-deletion option in the app or contact us to request deletion. Some limited records may be retained where required by law or necessary for fraud prevention and dispute resolution.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA if the law applies to our processing. MoneyWorks does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We recognize Global Privacy Control on this website as a request to reject optional processing.

7. Security and international processing

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No system is completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States, the European Union, and other locations where our service providers operate, with safeguards required by applicable law.

8. Children

MoneyWorks is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
