A deposit is your money
Each deposit is recorded with its currency and rate, so you always know how much of your own money sits in crypto.
CRYPTO JOURNAL
Exchange screens show prices and balances, but not the question that matters: how much of your own money went in, and how much has actually come out? Crypto Journal keeps that record — the same way MoneyWorks Lite keeps the record of your income.
In short

WHAT IT DOES
Each deposit is recorded with its currency and rate, so you always know how much of your own money sits in crypto.
A sale into USDT stays inside the portfolio. It counts as money taken out only when you record a withdrawal.
Split portfolios by strategy and keep the date, price and reason of each operation, so later you review decisions, not just results.
HOW IT FITS
MoneyWorks Lite treats income as a fact: real money that arrived on a real date. Crypto often blurs that line — a green number on an exchange feels like income long before anything has been withdrawn.
Crypto Journal draws the same line the income tracker does. What you deposit is yours, what you withdraw is the result, and everything in between is still at risk. Exchanges come in through CSV files from Bybit, Binance, OKX, Coinbase and Binance.US; BTC, EVM, Solana, TRON and TON wallets are read by public address.
